The Kauai Department of Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce that the island of Kauai will host the 2016 Senior Olympics Pickleball Tournament as part of the annual Aloha State Games. This will be the first time Kauai has hosted. The tournament will be played Fri-Sun., March 11-13, at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center, located in the town of Kalaheo. The Senior Olympics is an "open" pickleball tournament, meaning players may enter from anywhere in the world. This event is a qualifier for the 2017 National Senior Games. Play will be limited to the first 100 players. Contact Hawaii District Ambassador Jack Hodges if you have any questions. www.kauaipickleball.shutterfly.com
Our 2015 Senior Olympics tournament was held at the Holua Tennis and Pickleball Center in Kona (Big Island of Hawaii). It was a huge success. The island of Kauai will strive to make sure 2016 is more of the same!
